Our Parish

About Us

Discover the rich history of the Catholic Church of the Assumption, Falomo—founded in 1960 and rooted in the 1940s when Ikoyi was still a quiet fishing village. From humble beginnings with just 100 parishioners, the Church has grown into a thriving parish, birthing several outstations and undergoing multiple expansions. This document captures key milestones, from its founding by Archbishop Leo Taylor to major renovations and spiritual highlights, including the installation of sacred relics.
