Board Of Catechist
Mission & Purpose
Our mission to evangelize, bring people to the Church and prepare them for initiation into the life of Christianity by teaching the faith to children and adults and prepare them for the reception of the various sacraments.
Meetings Days & Time
We hold a general meeting of all Catechists in the parish on the First Sunday of every month at 2pm within the Church premises.
Activities
Catechism classes are held for children at 4pm every Saturday and after the 10am Mass on Sundays. For Adults, classes in preparation for the Rites of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA) holds after 10am Mass every Sunday.
How To Join
Any practicing Catholic desiring to become a Catechist can attend our monthly meeting as indicated above. New members must be baptised, Confirmed and be a Communicant. If married, the applicant must have wedded in the Church.
