1. Novena & Retreat in Preparation for the Solemnity of the Assumption
The 9-Day Novena in preparation for this year’s Solemnity of the Assumption will hold from Thursday, 6th August to Friday, 14th August 2026, at 5:00 p.m. daily.
The Assumption Retreat begins on Wednesday, 12th August 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
On Saturday, 15th August 2026, there will be a Rosary Procession at 7:00 a.m., followed by the Crowning of Our Lady.
On Sunday, 16th August 2026, all parishioners are encouraged to attend the Thanksgiving Masses dressed in their COAF Uniform. The First Holy Communion celebration will take place during the 12:00 noon Mass.
2. Singles Day with the Archbishop
This year’s Singles Day with the Archbishop comes up on Saturday, 22nd August, 2026 at 10.00am. Venue is CKC, Ilasamaja, Lagos
Theme: I am in love with a non-Catholic and wish to marry him, but I do not want to sacrifice my Catholic faith. What do I do?
It will feature Holy Mass; Insightful Talk; Interactive Q&A Session; Exciting Talent Show; Fun Games; Dance Competition; Live Entertainment; Lots of gifts and cash prizes to be won!
Ticket Fee: N5,000.00 per person
