Harvest Prayer

Heavenly Father, as we come to celebrate this year's Harvest of Divine Providence, we praise you for your goodness and your generosity, your provision and care for us.

We thank you for the blessings of life, the gift of family, friends and our Parish.

We are grateful for the graces you give us to know you, love you, and serve you.

We pray for a bountiful harvest, provision for you children, and peace in our country. That souls will be saved, lives transformed and God glorified abundantly.

May our hearts be filled with the joy of the Lord as we celebrate our Harvest.
Grant us the wisdom always to use our gifts and blessings for your glory, mindful that all good gifts come from you. Bless the hands that sow, that they may reap.

May your Holy Spirit lead us in this year's harvest activities and inspire us to act with commitment, integrity and generosity.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen

Harvest Prayer

God our heavenly Father, giver of all good gifts, we come before you with hearts full of gratitude. We thank you for the gift of life, for every breath we take, for every beat of our heart.

We lift our hearts in a harvest of gratitude, we thank you for our families, friends, and for our parish. You have been our strength in weakness, our peace in chaos, and our provider in times of need. Despite our failings, you have remained faithful.

Thank you Lord for the blessings we have received, for the challenges that have made us stronger, and for the promise of your presence with us always, for this we praise you.

We come before you as a parish community, to express our gratitude for your constant presence in our lives, and for guiding and protecting us each and every day.

Teach us to always remember to give thanks to you especially during this harvest season, and in every circumstances.

May our hearts be filled with the joy of the Lord as we celebrate our Harvest. Bless the hands that sow, that they may reap. May we continue to live our lives in constant gratitude, trusting in your never ending love for us. This we ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

30th August - Inauguration/Unveiling/Ushering In
6th September - Thanksgiving & Commitment Month: Harvest Tree Launching. Individual thanksgiving. Family thanksgiving. Corporate thanksgiving. Birth month thanksgiving/competition.
20th September - Cultural Thanksgiving: States cultural presentations (in our Cultural attire). Food exhibitions
4th October - Children's Thanksgiving & Fun Day: Children and Youth Harvest.
18th October - Weekday Harvest Thanksgiving: Thanksgiving and bazaar for all those who worship at our parish during the week and are not necessarily Parishioners.
8th November - Adult Harvest: Harvest Retreat. Grand Harvest Celebration.
15th November - Lunch and Dance: Comedy and entertainment. Music ministrations. Fashion parade. Raffle draws. Friendly contests.
