The Church of the Assumption Falomo Closed Detachment of the Nigerian Red Cross was inaugurated on the 22nd of September 2019 after a thanksgiving Mass. Currently we have a strength of 25 members only. Since inauguration, the Detachment has participated in the following activities in the Parish amongst others: *Facilitated the distribution of palliatives from The Church to residents of both the Police barracks And warders barracks her in Falomo during the Covid 19 lockdown period (April 2022) *Facilitated the Disinfection of the Church after the ease of lockdown And also actively assisted to make sure that Parishioners comply with the COVID19 directive as well as those put in place by the Church(August 2020)
