  1. Banns of Diaconate Ordination
    This is to inform all the faithful of the Archdiocese, that the following Seminarians are being proposed for Ordination to the order of Diaconate:

  2. Requiem Mass
    The Requiem Mass for Late Pa Jeremiah Adeyemi obanla, the Father of our dear Msgr. Anthony Obanla, comes up on Tuesday 13th February, 2024 at 10am. May the soul of Pa Jeremiah Adeyemi Obanla and rest in peace. Amen
  3. Inauguration of CMO Archdiocese
    The Parish priest and the Chaplain of the CMO of our Archdiocese heartly welcome the New Archdiocesan Executives to our parish today for the inaugural Mass at 12:00 noon. We wish them a fruitful tenure of office. God bless you all.
  4. Ash Wednesday
    Wednesday 14th February 2024 is Ash Wednesday. It is the beginning of the Holy Season of Lent and a day of fasting and abstinence. We shall have 4 Masses on that day: 6:30am; 8am; 12:30pm and 6:30pm. We are strongly advised to attend Mass in order to receive the ashes.
  5. Blessed Palm
    We are requested to bring our blessed palms from last year’s Palm Sunday. Kindly drop the palms at the entrance of any of the doors latest Tuesday, 13th February 2o24.
  6. 40 Days Walk with Jesus
    We will be invited to freely pick up our Lenten spiritual exercise today, immediately after the second collection. This will enable us walk more deeply with Jesus during the 40 days of Lent and be beneficiaries of His grace and mercy. Please be part of this exercise.
  7. Stations of the Cross
    The Stations of the Cross will hold on every Wednesday and Friday at 12 noon and 5pm respectively. We are enjoined to participate in this Lenten observance.
  8. Stations of the Cross for Children
    For effective Lenten observance for our children, Saturdays throughout the season of lent have been set aside for children to hold their stations of the cross. This will take place immediately after the 8:00am Mass. Parents can also join in this spiritual exercise in order to encourage and motivate them.
  9. Lenten Retreat for Children between age 12-16
    The parish will be organizing a Lenten retreat for children between the age 12-16 on Saturday, 9th March, 2024 at Mater Ecclesiae Monastery, Sangotedo. Lagos.
  10. Catholic Nurses Guild
    This is to inform parishioners who are registered Nurses/Midwives that Catholic Nurses Guild exists in the parish and they are expected to join the Guild to serve God in the parish.
